Fiyinfoluwa Ola-Daniel - Research Associate I

Fiyinfoluwa Ola-Daniel received her first degree in Veterinary Medicine, from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She later earned both of her Masters degrees in Veterinary Public health and Vaccine production and Quality control respectively, graduating with distinctions. She is a recipient of Awards/ scholarships which includes but not limited to the African Union scholarship, for one of her Masters program. As a biomedical researcher, her work has been centered around the investigations and control of numerous infectious diseases such as Q fever, Brucellosis, Tuberculosis, SARS-CoV-2, RSV and several others. This has culminated in published research articles in top peer reviewed journals.
Presently, her research at Dr Chen’s lab focuses on “Inhibiting biomechanical platelet aggregation to prevent arterial thrombosis without compromising hemostasis”.
